Betty gave us some gorgeous colors for today's Color Combination Challenge. They are:
Pear Pizzazz
Perfect Plum
Baja Breeze
Neutrals of choice
The dessert was to have a banner or banner-like flags. Obviously I chose not to add banners to my pines. : )
I tried something new for me. I brayered on Baja Breeze rather than white, which I usually do. I also stamped with acrylic paints.....pearl finish first and then pure white. If you do this, be sure to scrub your stamps IMMEDIATELY with soap and water since dried acrylic paint is NOT water soluble. After the trees, I did my spritzing and toothbrush spattering for a snowy(blizzard) scene.

OMGosh what a lovely result you ended up with. Maybe I should have started with baja instead of white. love your snowy scenic creation. Now I need a cup of cocoa to warm me up.

I love the way you did the snow with the toothbrush, I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip. This is so soft and beautiful, I love the colors in your scene.

Wowzers! I'm in total awe of your amazing brayering (I just can't get away from having definitive lines). The splattered look is such a perfect touch! (splattered doesn't sound like a refined term, but you know what I mean - lol).
