I started with a Kraft card base (I know, it looks gray) and embossed a frame with a deckle edge nestibility. Stamped snow with a Itty Bitty Background stamp using SU Whisper White craft ink. Stamped the pine tree from Lovely As A Tree with Stazon Eden Green and Stazon Saddle Brown. Used a aquabrush to brush on some white craft ink for snow. The sentiment is from Warmest Regards and is stamped in Stazon Blazing Red. The cardinal is a Martha Stewart bird punch.
This is also for OLW25 challenge to make a one layer card using Birds, Bees, Flowers and Trees.

Uh, oh, I see another punch I can't live without. (Darn, but SCS costs me money.) This is outstanding, Maxell. What a lovely, lovely Christmas card. Love your embossing and your gorgeous tree. A real beauty!!

Oh, this is so gorgeous. I like how you made your frame, and the white "snow" in the air actually looks glittery! I had to check twice in your recipe to see that there was no glitter used.
The way you did your tree is fabulous. A+!

I love the simplicity of this and as I ponder how to make lots of cards in time to mail for Christmas, this design fits the bill. Look for a CASE, coming soon...... you little queen you!
