The current challenge in the Crafty Secrets Member Forum is to use pink (a real challenge for me!) and I'm tackling the Hope You Can Cling To "Some kind of hope challenge" at the same time - the rose stamp set is brand new and got its first inking here, the Spellbinder tag die and coloured pencils have been in my stash for ever!
Using coloured pencils on kraft paper like this is something I love doing but often forget about.
The ribbon is better match for the rose in real life but it's silk and difficult to photograph with the light conditions we have at the moment!

Stunning! I have tried many times with coloring on kraft with little success. You have truly mastered it and this encourages me to continue trying. I'm so glad you are participating in the card drive. Someone will be so touched to get a card like this.

Oh my goodness! This should be in a frame to be admired for all eternity. I don't think I have ever seen such a gorgeous rose on a card before. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
