This is my first time uploading...please forgive any blunders. This set reminds me of the valentines my Mom used to have sitting on our plate when we would come out to have breakfast on Valentine's Day...wayyyy back in the 50's! I used to cut out the little figures and play with them. I love the set but it is way too time-consuming to demo. I think it looks best to use bright, cheerful colors...and white cardstock...like how the old cards used to look. I also love how the Hodgepodge goodies work with this set! Enjoy!

Thanks Connie. The Gamsol is easy to use and gives you a really smooth look when using the watercolor pencils. I love the fact that you can smooth out the pigment of the pencils on the CS without having the fibers in the paper 'pill' up! I bought mine at an art supply store...comes in a quart size can, and you only need a tiny bit to work with. It will last forever! Stamp and color in roughly, your image. Pour some Gamsol into a jar lid (in a well ventilated area) and using blender stumps, also purchased at an art supply, or Michaels, dip your stump into the Gamsol...then just blend away! This is so easy and fun to do...you will LOVE it!
