Congrats to Holly, aka Kopy Kat, for being selected this week's Queen For The Day!
Wow, what a joy to celebrate your gallery and your presence here on SCS, Holly. Hope that gorgous gold and diamond crown isnt wearing out just yet. I've head some Queens had to purchase a neck brace to from falling either front or backward. Hope that's not the case with you, Holly.
Anyway, although you're relatively new to SCS, you've managed to create a lofty gallery filled with amazing creations. My job of selecting one or more of your creations was not an easy one. As I journeyed through your collection, there were 1, 2, 3 and more cards I want to case. Prepare yourself ~ more to come.
I loved this creation Holly actually crafted on my behalf a few week's ago. I loved it then and I'm still loving it. Check this OUT.
I've modified Holly's QFTD card slightly. Really, it's only been slighted changed.
Here's what I did:
1. Changed the image and moved it more to the left.
2. Used torn texturized paper (DCVW) in place of the wave punched edge.
3. Used a multi colored button to replace the circular shell.
4. Move it up above the torn paper rather than below.
Holly, it is surely not an easy task to case one of your beauties, but I'm hoping you can still see your sketch somewhere in this card.
I adore this Erte image, so I was so anxious to be able to use it. It's definitely not as darling as the sweet girl image you used, but it's definitely my style.
Hope you've had an amazing day and be sure to come back often throughout the week to see even more cards.

I wouldn't have had to see your name beneath this card - I'd have known immediately that you created it! This is one gorgeous card with that fantastic image and that shred of black for an accent! The double button pop of color is exactly what this card needed to be complete! Love it!!

Ooohhh... I'm an admirer of Erte's work, and this one has been one-upped by you, my friend. You picked the absolute perfect paper to highlight the image, and your sparse coloring is fantastic. LOVE it!

Ooooh la la! How very elegant, Ms. Ryan. This has such class and style--this is so YOU. This is how I imagine you are in real life. Such an aristocratic air surrounds this lovely card. Love the DP, the image, the splashes of color. A super creation!

What a beauty Anne. DP is awesome. Really like your b&W image with a touch of colour and your button. Since the extra challenge was to add an old photo of ourselves.....is that you????? :-)

You would think the resident detective with a 9999 IQ would know if this was a man or a woman. She must be slacking on the job. Even The Fruitcake knows it is a man/woman - gosh, that Debzi sure is "not smart"!! The image, the dp, textures and button turn this into a "STELLAR" creation Ms. Anne!! TFS! Can wait to see da detective try her hand at vintage - does she even know what that word means???? LOL!!

I can see you're getting those FS images inked up quickly, Anne. That dramatic paper is a great match, real fashion flair. The little black strip even looks like fabric.
