Hi! This card was made for the Inspiration Challenge: Elizabeth's Embellishments. It also fits this week's Stampin' B's Challenge to use a Charm.
On top of the massive reading assignment that Markie was given last week, we became aware that he has to read 2 400+ page books before WEDNESDAY!!!! He's about 260 pages in to the first book, and we haven't even gotten the other one from Amazon yet! YIKES! He's in panic mode, I assure you...Tomorrow is going to be VERY QUIET around here...Someone has to read, A LOT! LOL
I have to admit this...I totally CASED myself. And...This rose, along with about 30 others, was sitting on my desk, partially colored in with Colored Pencils and OMS. I just finished it! LOL
To mimic This Quilt, I used my Copic Airbrush and shaded in around the senitment. To finish the bottom dp layer, I stamped the crackle stamp from Background Fun in Ginger.
Finished size: 4 1/2" square.
Total time complete: about 40 minutes...I estimated the time to color in the flower.

This is LOVELY!! The blue behind your rose, such a pretty effect!!
On sending my gargantuan bow off the side cards, I usually fold them over for a card like the one I made for this challenge. It's satin, and easy enough to do. (one side to the front, one side to the back) When I use the big striped bow, then I have to use a padded mailer like you, or a largely oversized envelope. In all honesty, I keep a fair amount of them, and send cards I made that AREN'T so huge and envelope challenged. ;)
