Molly, Molly, IÂ’ve been thinking,
said the teapotters;
Now that all is peaceful and calm,
the chickens will want to stay on the farm.
Young Miss Molly started winking,
and slowly rubbed her chin;
she pulled her chair up close to da Mudder,
and she asked her with a grin:
How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm
After they've seen Paree'
...
Yep, apparently I now have truly lost it as is evident from my card for this week's tea party MMTPT108. But when I read the story of trying to rid Molly Brown's museum from all those chickens, this song popped into my head and wouldn't leave! Check out in the Our Gang Follies of 1936. I remember watching reruns of Our Gang when I was little and this always made me laugh! Changed the words slightly for the teaparty story.
So I'm not really bringing chickens IN ... I'm taking them OUT -- see the sign pointing to Paris. All the chickens are headed that way!
Stamped the Eiffel Tower image with a mix of distress ink in three different colours. Matted with black cardstock and then popped up on somne gold dp that reminded me of chicken wire. Added a Paris sticker and chipboard arrow and three metal chickens.
Thanks for taking a peek!
