Hi! This card was made for today's Free 4 All Challenge: It's Garden Pickin' Time. Participants were to use a Flower or FRUIT as the main image on their cards.
I have a piece of artwork in my hallway that I acquired at an auction in Lancaster, PA three years ago. It has a bird, and an apple and the pattern looks ALOT like this card! I hate to say this, but I didn't even REALIZE it until Markie sneaked into my stampin' room, (it was 11:45PM), and said, "Hey, Mom! You cased that ugly painting in the hallway!" Okay, so not EVERYONE likes that painting as much as I do! LOL
The main images are a bird with FLOWERS and an Apple! I stamped them in VersaMark onto glossy card stock and embossed them in Black Detail Embossing Powder. I colored in the bird's flowers with Copics. I sponged in the apple with Distress Inks.
The background is a piece of Ink Spray and Smash that I've had on my stampin' table for a few months!
