Made this for the Teapot tuesday challenge. I just love those stories. As you can see, I've got sewing supplies and a few garments ready to go for the girls!!!
I used the same color combo as the watertower/teapot but went off in my own direction I guess...lol...
The dress stamp is a Michaels $1 bin find that I'm not sure I've ever inked (the little girl I watch loves this one to play with though, so I had to give it a good scrub first) the stitching behind the dresses is from a gina k stamp set by nina (nana's needlework). I created the sentiment and the banner using the pc. The pin has some beads on it to make it sparkle and the dress dots are colored white and then clear glitter pen over for some shine. That ribbon has been with me a long time, moved with me when I moved in with dh all those years ago, moved into this house, and I just sent some to a friend hoping she could find a use for this cute measuring tape ribbon... All those spots in the bg were on a scrap from the scrap bin. not much else going on here except maybe a little comfort for a fellow SCS'er. Check out the destination station post in the challenge section. Even if you don't play along with the teapot tuesday challenges, the cause is a good one.
OOOH, and this fits the CAS polka dots challenge too so I'm linking it there as well.
