Curt has been on hiatus for awhile. When he read the story of the spotless Duke, he hopped to his hoofs and mooed aloud, “I have got to help that little guy!”. So here’s what happened next…..... in case you are confused go here for the complete story......
To back up a tad, Curt knows all too well what it’s like to grow up “spot”-less. You see, he too was born without spots. He ended up carrying around an umbrella so he could hide from his friends. Finally his mom took some sewing lessons from Anne Ryan and they came up with just a darling and well fitted jacket that had just the perfect spots on it. Finally Curt felt normal….or did he? hmmmm
Now that Curt is older and wiser and doesnÂ’t give a hoot what others think, he has decided to be himself, whatever that maybe. So he had Miss Anne of Ryan alter the jacket for Duke, since his mom is getting up in age and canÂ’t see well. Then he will give it to him in hopes that one day he too will realize that itÂ’s whatÂ’s on the inside that counts!.....at least that was what my dad always said. I thought maybe he said that because I was ugly or something and he was just trying to make me feel good. hehe Who knows!
So Duke, wear these spots well, get that job and enjoy life. Curt is Â…Â…and in stripes to boot! hehe
Gotta love Tuesdays! Â…..stamps from CDS, coloring with copics.
Thanks for stopping by!......TFL :0)

Tee Hee! You are such a rebel! You brought an umbrella, your brought Curt, you brought Curt the pre-spot critter and you brought stripes! Good thing you didn't put Duke in stripes, I told ya about his lion phobia...didn't I? Are you sure this coat that Anne sewed will hold up to a Fireman's parade? I hope that it doesn't get hung up on the fire hydrant and Duke's spots don't get peeled off....Have you ever seen the Captain when hes unhappy with the crew???? Yikes!
Okay, girlfriend, this is one of those cards! Snort......Who ya gonna send this to? Snort! You story is definately proof that you read the whole story! Giggle! It rocks Curthy!

LOL... great story! Lucky Curt... not many cows, spotless or not, have haute couture by Anne Ryan! How did she ever get him to quit mooving around during the alterations? Love this fun, fun card!

As always, starting the morning with a smile and giggle. Are you sure that's Curt? His udders look a bit big, don't they, and those long eyelashes. Hmm, I wonder if that's why we haven't seen him for a while. He does look so odd in his unspotted incarnation, I think I prefer the zebra stripes. I'll go round the back door to wait for you there . Love, love the umbrella - I'd like one just like that.

That is just too cute - both the story and the card. It is good to know that Curt is still around when needed - and you have a great umbrella for the spotless dog.
