This was a difficult challenge for... REALLY! Thank you Holly for tossing me out of my comfort zone...which is layers!!
I stamped the flower from SU! Asian Artistry set in Staz-on and then only stamped the leaves of the flower stamp at the bottom. I colored the flower in with Night of Navy and the leaves in Certainly Celery and Old Olive. Then I stamped, "i love you," from SU!'s, Three Little Words, set in Staz-on. Next I punched three holes and added three brads. I added a little butterfly which has two layers...Is that OK? Then I sponged some Apricot Appeal all around the images and embellishments.
*I took a peek before I uploaded my card to see if anyone had added some dimension to their cards and I did see some butterflies and some ribbon. Just wanted to be sure my card fit within the challenge rules!*
Hope you like my card!

- I checked the gallery too before I popped up my bird wing, then I reckoned if other people were using ribbon, popping up a wing wasn't exactly a layer. I love your colours, and really like the way the leaves are *growing* onto the page - makes it look like a cropped picture.

A stunner! I especially like your very pretty defining & shading techniques. A "dazzler" ! No wonder the pretty "butterfly" is flying towards your lovely "flower"! The ribbon detail gives the card such a delicate touch. Fabulous!

Love it Jenna! Gotta love that blue everywhere...it's my favourite colour you know. TFS oh and don't worry about the butterfly, it will fly away and it will become a one layer againg. LOL
