...to go camping that is. When I read "tent card" as the challenge for today my mind just went into overdrive with ideas. I love camping, love the great outdoors. Don't do it as much now that I have gotten older and seem to be working harder. Something definitely is wrong with this picture. hehe Anyway here's my card and the how to's.......
Instead of cutting two 6 x 6 pieces I just made a 5 1/2" folded card out of white cs. On the front panel I stamped and clear ep it with SU sanded. Then I rubbed my sandal ink pad over top.
Tried my hand at sewing with a machine around the edges. Should have used a colored thread. Oh well. Cut out my window with a square coluzzle, did faux stitching around it. Made a window screen for it and tied it up with ribbon ties.
Stamped, clear eb, colored with copics then cut out all the things you might use or see while camping.
Hung a lantern in my tent. Boy, it sure lights up the place. Put some grass on the bottom outside. Used a wooden skewer to keep my tent up. Wal-la done. Wish I was there with all of you.
So I hope you like my little camping scene. Don't worry about the bear. He's a young-in' and quite friendly. Has a thing about toilet paper tho. That's why I have so much! hehe..........TFL :0)

I'm not so fond of camping, but I love your card! As usual, you are over-the-top creative! Big smile on my face!

Like I've said before, I'm out of descriptive words for your fantabulous creations. Over the top wonderful tent card Mutnik! Doesn't look like the mosquitos have arrived at your campground yet or you wouldn't have that window on the tent open. Love that you left lots of TP for the bears - makes me think of the Charmin commercials.
