As simple as this card is, it took me forever. The design of it was started probably a year or so ago when I saw a seed packet on SCS. Here is a copy of the original packet that I cased, but not the same card, When I saw the packet I went into my Printmaster program and made a few different styles to fit me.
QFTD10, Congrats to debzi333 for being the queen for the day last week, You so deserved the crown. I chose this card to case, when I saw it , it reminded me of the seed packet from so long ago.
IC234, I was inspired by these napkin rings for the image on my seed packet
Finished packet is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
I started with a piece of cs 7x9 inches
I scored the long side at 1/2 inch and 4 3/4 inch
I scored the top at 1 inch, and the bottom at 1/2 inch
On the left side I removed the small squares from the top and the bottom, and on the right, I removed the top and bottom longer pieces. Then on the right side I took a circle punch, centered it in between my scored lines and took a bite out of the top, to gain easier access to my sleeve insert. I rounded the corner to my flap and I was done. Oh I used red sticky tape to close.
Hey and another card that's easy to mail, yippee
Thanks for looking

Oh, Irene, I am so sorry I didnt see this when you first posted it. It's a delight for the eye, that's what this one is. I love your subway insert; what a hoot. Yippee is right ~ mailing some of our creations is not always an easy or inexpensive thing to do. I love your seed image and packet. Girl, you did a stellar job with this card that took you almost forever. From where I sit, it was well worth the time.
