Ever since the Teapotters had their "rap session on the farm" a few weeks ago, these critters have been practicing to get their sound down perfect. They're waaaaaayyyyyy late to the party but what the heck, they sound really good!
Had this card swirling around in my head ever since that rappin' teaparty but when I saw these Fun on the Farm melamine dishes on the Two Lumps of Sugar website for last Friday's Inspiration challenge I had to put it together. Now I've got the song "All God's Critters" in my head.
I printed the barn, the animals and the background sky/grass on watercolour paper then cut the whole works out - oh for fancy punches that could have saved me all that fussy-cutting. (The animals and barn are from a digital kit appropriately called Barnyard Dance by Kay Miller Designs.) Sentiment is computer generated.
Now for one further challenge - last week the StampinB challenge was hosted by dear sweet Benzi. Even though she doesn't know how to find her way to the Post Office, I thought I make a card for the challenge which was to include a food or drink on your card. Now the StampinB website very clearly states they have NO RULES, so I don't think I'm pushing the boundaries TOO MUCH by saying that (without endangering the lives of any of the members of this group of musical animals) there is an abundance of food to be found here - milk, cheese, eggs, cream, the makings for ice cream... You get the idea!
So, as always, I'm late to the party but had fun making this crazy little barnyard scene.
Punch tally: 2 circle punches on the outside (plus a bunch more on the inside as I punched out the entire chorus of the song on circles).

When I saw this come up in the pnz gallery....oh my gosh...I was thinking to myself now who made that delightfully fun card!!! This is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. This can't be a card....it must be framed and hung on a wall!!! It just has to be...I am telling you! There are just so many adorable creatures on here to look at and so much amazing detail to entertain and bring a smile to your face. It is incredible and just made my heart happy to gaze upon all the clever details. Well done my friend!!!

I wondered where all that sweet moosic was coming from! So glad to see the choir at the teaparty. Your inspiration dishes reminded me of the rap session at McCoy's farm too, and your barnyard scene is FANTASTIC!!! Love it!

This is fabulous, Heather!! Just love those cute little critters and the notes you put around them. Think a barnyard choir is the only place I would sound good so I may have to join LOL! Great card
