I decided to use this layout for a Father's Day card. Never too early to try to get ahead of the game in my book since I always seem to be running behind.
I changed the theme to a nautical one and changed the 1st panel b/g ef to circles and the second panel b/g with the SU Weathered stamp. I added a Hero Arts greeting.
I was going to stay monochromatic, but thought that little pop of subtle blue added some interest. I also stamped the sails on the sailboat twice and popped up one set on dimensionals for depth.
I paper pierced several panels and used the faux stitch technique since I don't have a sewing machine and LOVE sewing on cards. ~Did you catch that one Benz who still owes me a fully operational sewing machine~!
I think that about does it. Linda, your gallery is fabulous and I hope you so enjoy your special day and week!
Thanks for taking a look and have a wonderful weekend!
Punch Tally for Punchkateerz: Yikes, only used the rectangular nesties on this one. I'll try harder on the next one. Didn't lose much weight on this card. Guess I better not pig out tonight!!

wow, pam! this is gorgeous!! i love how you split the embossed panels, added the touch of blue and how you used the cord. if you never get your real sewing machine, you'll be okay; you're faux stitching is awesome and looks real to me. THANK YOU for playing the QFTD04 game and for honouring me with this beautiful father's day card.

A great masculine card Pam! I think your choice of using a little blue was a great idea. I love that cord you used. Great job as usual!

This is such a wonderful CASE of Linda's card, Pam!! I love how your layout and colors mirror hers. Fantastic faux stitching!! And don't sweat your punchez tally--we all understand that you can't use a huge variety on EVERY card I love the great textures you added on your background panels. What a super Father's Day card, Pam!! Kudos on getting ahead

What a perfectly wonderful Father's day card! Great stamps too. Love the weathered bg one. Great stitching and panels. The bit of blue really sets the eye on the main image. The added knotted string above the sentiment is perfect.TFS. : )
