This is my first crack at an easel card which I made a couple of weeks ago. It's also got a pop=up sentiment as I wanted it to stand up when the card was open.
I like to try new folds for my hubby's cards because he really likes them (and he loved this card, btw!) I used our wedding colours for this and had such a lot of fun going mad with bling, paper flowers, punched shapes - you name it, it's in there! I wanted to make it look as though Jack and Ginger were going under an arch of flowers. Very un-CAS and it took me ages but I really enjoyed it! (and at the risk of sounding sickly, he's completely worth it!)
Thank you so much for taking a closer look!

Oh my Sally this is a card and a half for sure. It is so over the top it is fantastic, is there anything you didn't use on it? LOL (only joking!)
Your colouring is brilliant and you really nailed that flower arch and your first easel card too ... well done you.
I'm not the least surprised DH loved it, who wouldn't like to receive this wonderful confection.
Belate happy anniversary and may you celebrate many, many more

Congratulations Sally! I too feel old - coming up 27 years for me and my hubby LOL! This is not your usual CAS style, but it certainly is gorgeous! LOVE the flower arch - all your wonderful details and of course that beautifully coloured couple! Wishing you both many more years of health, love and happiness!!

Wow! I can see how it took you ages to finish this beauty! It's so thoughtful that you used your wedding colors, and put all that effort into it for a man so worth it! I think it's neat that he likes your creations. Happy Anniversary, by the way!

I adore Mo's images and you've made a terrific card with this one. You can see the attention you gave it - and it's good to hear your DH appreciates the effort you put into his cards... Great job - love all the little punched hearts...
