What a cool site Stef, reminded me of my grandma who use to wear really neat hats. As a young child I would watch her put them on by sticking "pins" into her head, or so I thought. That's gotta hurt! hehe Today I chose this hat. My sister gave me this image a long time ago and I have never had a reason to use it until today. Thanks Sis!......the card....
I would have had this card posted along time ago, but for some dumb reason I tried some paint that I have had sitting around for years. Put it on the black dots and waited for it to dry. Was taking a very long time, decided to read instructions on the bottle....drying time 3 hours. I nearly fainted! Who has three hours! So I put it under a light bulb, distracted myself and hoped for the best.
The image was colored with copics and popped up various parts. Cut out the oval and eb using nesties.
The "takes to long to dry" dotted squiggly oval was cut out using a coluzzle and eb with a fiskar plate.
The red card was cb using dotted swiss, then splattered with black and white acrylic paint. Added the bow which was tied with the easy bow thing.
Well, hope you like my sexy lady......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Thanks again for this stamp.

Love your sassy lady and what an awesome background that red paint made! Worth the wait!! I wondered why my card wasn`t showing in the gallery. I found out it helps to put the correct numbers in. ;-) Love the polka dots!! TFS!

This is terrific, Cathy! Perfect time to showcase your hat lady. Love your splattered/bugged bg. Oh man if I had paint that took 3 hrs to dry, I wouldn't have it very long, lol. 3 minutes is about all I can take.

LOVE IT! Love hats too, just born in the wrong era, lol! So, if you need a home for this LOVELY LADY...send it MY way! I read all the comments and I don't think anyone claimed it? Not even your sweet sister who sent the image to begin with? Looks like a cameo-just BEAUTIFUL!
