1) Today's WT262, A Little Encouragement, a two part challenge...create an encouragement card or project and for the second part...make sure you give it away! This will go to my friend who will be having her second installment of wrist surgery (the left wrist this time) very soon.
3) Limelight Papercrafts Sketch 43 (LLPC043) to use the given sketch and try to incorporate your favorite RIBBON. I used this ultra fancy beaded, braided ribbon/trim. The sketch challenge may be found here: http://limelightpapercrafts.blogspot...43-ribbon.html
4) A new challenge for me: Flutter By Wednesday. This week's challenge is to use the color green and/or shamrocks AND be sure to include butterflies, fairies or angels. The challenge may be found here: http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot....y-fbw-101.html
My angel image is stamped in gold ink and heat embossed with clear EP. I salvaged one of the little beaded elements that got clipped off my ribbon trim (while trimming it to fit my card) by hand-stitching it to the ivory bow above the angel. Card measures 4.25" square.
This is not the card I envisioned making today (I really need to keep going on my Easter cards!!), but I was really inspired by all of these great challenges and knew I could make a super card of encouragement for my friend to help her through her wrist surgery ordeal. Thanks everyone for the inspiration!
Thanks for looking!
Emily

That is just gorgeous , Emily!! I love the rich greens that your used, the fabulous ribbon and gorgeous beads! What a beautiful card!!! As someone who broke her left wrist back in late October -and is still having trouble with it... I can tell you that your friend will be most appreciative of this card. I hope the surgery goes really well for your friend, and that she has quick recovery from the surgery.
