Under the guidance of LilLuvsStampin, I have managed to add text to my photo and hopefully, correctly upload and submit my card made for Lindsay. It has all been a mission of compassion and healing energies, so things went smoothly.
From a sample card at a recent punch class, I came up with my variation. I hand cut and crimped the leaves, oval punched the tulips, then 3D them to various cardstock and designer papers.
This card is bright purple and lavender, even though the photo makes it appear more maroon.
I then went on to make the fun envelope my daughter and I call the "cupcake." It is sealed, cut, the top is scallop punched along the edge and the bottom is crimped. Adding a scallop and circle punch with a "L" from Lovely Letters, makes it personal. We love this look, which can be as pretty as a present, depending on how fancy you get.

Welcome to SCS! I'm so glad you decided to come and share your craft. Your tulips are so pretty especially with the DP you used. The envelope is just as pretty as the card. How will Lindsay ever rip it open? You already have a water mark (I don't EVEN know how to do that!) and you've staged your photo! You are off to an awesome start! I think LilLuvsStampin need to come help me with that watermark thing!!!

Welcome, welcome. I have to say this is so darn pretty and if I didn't know it was going to Lindsay I'd have to say to send it to me!!! The colors are so very pretty and I love your design. I'm going to put this in my favorites right now so I can try some of those tulips and your cupcake envy! What a great first upload.

Lynn, welcome to SCS and your first upload. You will be hooked now and watch out you might be as crazy as the rest of us soon. I mean that in a humorous way.
Your card is very pretty, I love how you embossed the leaves. Great colors and also Charlene's favorite one. The envie is beautiful, too. I don't think I have seen one made like that. I love it. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you here again soon.

Well...first of all....I gotta tell you how jealous I am that you know Charlene in real life....what a treat for you....and woe for me...!!!
Secondly...welcome to your new home away from home...as Char said....she has warned you that this can be very addictive.....but I am sure she has also told you how much fun and inspiration and support you will also experience.
Third....and most importantly....from the beauty pictured here, I have a feeling that you are going to be right at home. What a gorgeous purple beauty...love the dimension, the layout, the colors.....really classy....
Now...do me a favor...next time you see Charlene, please give her a grand old hug for ME....thanks!!!
And...by the way...how fab that your first upload is a Tea Party card for Lindsay.....very cool and kind.....
