This week's CAS challenge is to make a square card. I love square cards so this was a lot of fun for me!
I needed to make an engagement card for some friends of ours who recently found love a little later in life (he's over 70 but has the fitness and zest for life of a 30-year-old!). They love to go dancing together so I bought this stamp with them in mind at the weekend.
I embossed the image in gold onto ivory card, then embossed the dress in gold onto gold vellum paper and pieced it onto the main image.
The sentiment is also gold-embossed, then the panel is layered onto ivory and gold card. I finaly added an ivory satin ribbon.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!

As BEAUTIFUL as this is Sally, I bet it's even more spectacular in real life with that beautiful gold. LOVE the gold paper piecing of the dress, your gorgeous ribbon and your crisp clean layout and gold embossed sentiment. What a special card for a special couple. They will LOVE this!! TFS!!
