For MM's tea party we are in New Orleans this week. Wahooo! Well, that brought back memories. Not all of them so fond. The first time I did an oyster shooter was on Bourbon Street and it was not the most pleasant experience I ever had. However, I figure pearls come from oysters, so I added pearls to my card. Blue ones which were a perfect match to the dp and a gift from the lovely and generous Peggy-Sue. Thank you, Peggy-Sue!
So if the blue pearls don't count, I made sure to throw in a background of Mardi Gras beads so there would be no suggestion of a back door for me! Even though our beloved MM said there was no back door this time, I didn't want to take any chances.
The card is much more shimmery than in the photo. Both the dp and the corresponding blue are shimmery.
Thanks to Princessheather for letting me punch a bunch o' MS butterflies!
Pinkies up teapartiers! And happy weekend wishes to all!

Once again you show us how gorgeous a little shimmer and shine can be on a card. Nice job with the sketch, too. Great photo set up with those Mardi Gras beads. I have a few NO stories myself, but most recent trip was with family and wonderful. Hugs from warm California!

Yah! M! You made it! So sorry I was so late in greeting you! I was hiding my beads cuz some of the teapotters were eye balling them really closely and it made me nervous! Ooh...girlfriend, you better hide yours too.....come with me, I will show you where my hiding spot is! Giggle!
This is such an awesome card and the beads in the background are the perfect prop! The gold embossing is just elegant with the butterflies...its so beautifully done!
No worries about being late....we are still hear partying with Martie! Hugs.....
