I thought today's color challenge was pretty masculine, so I decided to make a card for my son. He's a sophomore in high school and has been training very hard to make the varsity baseball team this year. Coincidentally, the high school's colors are maroon and gold, so it was obviously meant to be! LOL...
I started by running some Bravo Burgundy through my Big Shot with the Movers & Shapers Die and the star Magnetic Punch Window. I stamped the front of the card with the Sanded Background stamp and Bravo Burgundy. I stamped the bat with Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White cs, cut it out and adhered it to the card. I then stamped the baseball with Craft White on Basic Gray cs, embossed it with White Emboss Powder, punched it out with my 3/4" Circle Punch and added it to the card with a Dimensional. Finally, I stamped GO TEAM with Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White cs, layered it on Basic Gray cs, added a bit of Crushed Curry ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot and added this panel with Dimensionals to the card. For the stars, I stamped one with Basic Gray ink onto Crushed Curry cs, punched it out with my Large Star Punch and stamped the smaller one with Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White cs. It's punched out with my Star Punch and also layered with Dimensionals. That's it!
