Today Julia challenged us to use textiles on our creations.. I LOVE to sew as much as I love cardmaking. I used the new Whimsie Doodles Cloud 9 Leah and Cloud 9 Cupid. Made a stair step card and added lots of clouds. Then I cut a heart out of red fabric flannel with my heart nestie. Added it to a stiff piece of cardstock.
Underneath the card is a towel I made for a friend for Valentines day. Got the towel for a dollar at the dollar store. Cut a strip of fabric and sewed it to the towel. Then made a fabric yoyo and added a heart button. Easy project. Even if you don't sew.
Thanks Julia. This was a great challenge..

Your card is so cute Dawn!! Those little kids are colored so well. Great job adding the fabric. You are such a domestic one with the sewing. Nice little Valentine's towel; your friend will love it.
