Good morning, it has been SO LONG since I uploaded a card or played in a challenge!! So, I decided today was the day to start playing again. Julia I hope this qualifies for today's challenge. I used some wide twill that I had in my sewing box. I started by stamping my trees in versamark on white cardstock and them embossing them in clear. I then painted over the whole panel with spanish olive acrylic paint, waited a couple of minutes then wiped the paint off the embossed trees and distressed the edges with my distresser. I decided to cut my HB stamp apart as they were stacked on top of each other. BAD IDEA! I hadn't used this set yet and didn't pay attention to the fact that there was shadowing underneath the letters and cut the shadowing off the happy. URGGGHHH!!!! Oh well, c'est la vie. I added a button and twine and mounted on a kraft card base. Hind sight, I wish I had mounted on a brown base.
Anywho, thanks for the challenge today Julia and thanks for looking!

Welcome back!!! Great card - love the look of your emboss resist... The distressed edges are great... (BTW, I wouldn't have noticed the letters on Happy were missing their shadows if you hadn't mentioned it... )
