It's Saturday, that means it's IC Challenge! I love this challenge, really makes me think. What drew me here today was the name Echo. We used to have friends back home that named their DD Echo. Go figure....Anyway, today I was inspired by this pillow ......details....
Thank goodness I checked out the site last night because I didn't have internet for awhile this morning, so it gave me time to figure out how to make my card sort of look like this brushstroke pillow. I gessoed some white cs, let dry. Then I lightly drew some squares and painted around them with black acrylic paint.
Painted the actual squares with white acrylic paint the added the black brush strokes. I wasn't careful while painting because I wanted it to look like the IC I chose. Hopefully I achieved that look.
Took a white card, sponged edges ruby red and added the black brushstrokes with acrylic paint.
Stamped the heart fours times. This is from my sister a long time ago and I don't know who makes it. I clear ep it, cut it out and glued all of them together. Popped this up on one of the squares.
Well, hope you like this. Know that each and every comment is so appreciated!!!!.......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Do you remember who makes this stamp?

Now this is what I call genuine intrepretation, russian spy. Love the vision you saw in your echo design. Very simplistic in design, but ooooh la la girl, very spectacular in design I must say. I see you're asking your sister if she can remember who made the image? Silly girl, your sister cant remember yesterday let alone anything from years ago. Sorry, Sput, but those were the exact words you said on the phone last week. I have a question: how come you didnt use gesso all over the card. I havent tried it yet, but I'm thinking the card you sent me today was all gessoed maybe? I could feel the texture that you mentioned when we met, so I'm guessing that was gesso does?

I knew right away what your inspiration piece was! All your cards are works of art. Love the added heart! Hope your neck is feeling better! Gentle hugs. TFS!
