I was going to skip today and do some much needed book work and things around the house. BUT this stamp spoke to me and before I knew it my project was done. hehe.........details.....
It was the treat thing that was holding me back this morning when I read the challenge. So I just blew it off and went to work. Got home and after stamping this Rubbernecker Frosty in Frame Stamp I was good to go. Clear ep after stamping, colored with w/c pencils and cut out area around the snowman.
When I folded my scrap piece of cs, obviously the fold wasn't centered. So instead of cutting off the extra I cb it, then sponged some color over. Put a piece of misc dp inside to show through the cut out part when closed.
Made a little sack, splattered black acrylic paint over top and over the front of my card, then sponged the top of the sack and the edges of the card with bashful blue. Added the ribbon handles.
On another scrap of white cs, stamped and clear ep three pairs of mittens, also from Rubbernecker , colored with w/c pencils, cut out. Put jute on one pair, put a pair sticking out of the sack, which by the way is my treat for today, no sweets, just mittens. Much better for you. Also put a pair on the front of my small card sort of in a heart shape.
Well, hope you like the little card and my "treats" being mittens.......hehe.........TFL :0)
Hi Sis!
Note: Connie Jo9, my sister, youngest son has developed a rather large cyst by his tail bone that has an abscessed behind it. It is very painful and infected. They are trying to get the infection down before they remove it. She needs encouragement right now. If you could drop her a card that would be super. PM me for her address if you need it. Thanks.

What a great is this! When things are always great, I'm totally shocked that your work just gets greater and greater in terms of artistic expression. Love your sack and card. How adorable these are. I bet that russian spy sister of yours has already put her aging mitts all over this! Got your pm. Not too worry, I'm on it!

Trust you to rescue the crooked card in such an effective way. Great wintery look with the spattering and blue. I didn't see anywhere that the treats had to be sweet - and I agree, mittens are much better for us. I need a new pair anyway, LOL. Well, gloves, really. But when I went to the camping store to look, I came home with a new jacket instead - how did that happen!!
I'll drop a card in the post to Connie tomorrow.
