This is my card for today's IC, and Thursday's WT to use something new (stamps, paper). Loved the site, and DH picked out two other pieces he would like me to be inspired by, but I had trouble translating what I imagined onto paper. I was inspired by Morphans Sunny Side.
5 3/4" square white base. Next layer was from my Secret Santa, unknown. The creamy yellow is Basic Grey Lily Kate. I stamped the Whippersnapper tree with Walnut Brown Distress Ink, and the birds ((Season of Friendship, Wild About You) with black. Distressed the edges, sponged with Prussian Blue and layered onto brown Bazzill. Distressed the edges, attached to blue layer. Added copper WRMK photo-turns with Making Memories snaps. The Hero Arts sentiment was stamped with black onto the Lily Kate and cut with Spellbinders ribbon tag. One end is held down with a Prima Say it With Studs, the other with two little strips of offcut paper.
