This is for today's CAS47 Challenge, a Disney inspired Clean and Simple card. I don't really care for Disney (and my kids are way beyond Disney age) so I don't have a single Disney stamp. I wasn't going to do this challenge, then I thought about the Disney song, When You Wish Upon a Star. Perfect! (Although, come to think of it, I have always loved the Mickey Mouse scene, based on the music of Dukas, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, in the movie Fantasia. But I still don't have any Mickey Mouse stamps!)
Anyway, this is a birthday card for a friend's pre-teen daughter who loves all things Celestial. It really did go together in 10 minutes (OK, it took another 5 minutes to dry the mulberry paper and get it glued on just right!). I've used gold and copper CS, and the same DP stack from Michael's (very versatile stack!). The main image is called Star Goddess by Hampton Arts; the sentiment stamp (I can't believe I came across this never used stamp in that one box of stuff I've been working from!) which says, *Wish on Every Star* is by Paula Best. How perfect is that!
Of course, this card had to be sparkly and glittery, so I've sprinkled the main image first with Super Fine Crystal glitter, then with Crystal Tinsel on her hair.
I hope all your New Year's wishes come true, (and your New Year's resolutions, too! Thank you for looking!
Hugggs!

Gorgeous celestial image! I am sure she will love it. Yeah, that song brings back alot of memories. All the family gathered on the living room floor (6 of us) waiting to watch what Mr. Disney had for us that Sunday evening.

Very artistic and creative response to this Disney challenge. Your talent for collage (for which I have none) definitely shines through here. I haven't been big on Disney images either since childhood, but love the ideas and sentiments it inspires, like "Wish On Every Star." TFS. Linda
