Hey, it's me, the Christmas Card Lady who never wants to make another Christmas card again!! Yeah, like that will happen!!
I thought it might be cool to make a quilt with the top note die using some Christmas Cocoa DSP. This is what I've come up with.
.I punched out twelve 1-1/4" squares from the Christmas Cocoa DSP and adhered them to a 3-3/4x5 piece of white card stock, then ran it through the top note die cut to get the quilted top note.
.Onto that I popped up an ornament I punched out using the SU ornament punch and ran it through the Holly Ribbons EF, added a sparkly pearl snowflake, red pearls and ran some thread at the top of the ornament.
.Pearls are from my buddy Wattle who keeps me loaded with beautiful pearls of all colors and the red thread is from djahner. Thanks Kathy & Deb!
.I added a ribbon, sentiment and 3 more pearls to the bottom.
.The red cardstock layer, the top note die and ornament are all popped up on dimensionals.
.P.S. My card is 5.25 x. 5.25.
I think that's it. I may try this with some other papers and see what patterns I can come up with.
Thanks for taking a visit and let me know what you think if you have a chance.
P.S. Anne Ryan: I think I have about 9 more Christmas cards to make, so sit tight. Try to make it through this madness. I'm with you - I'm SO over these now!! LOL!!
