It's Tuesday and the fun is going on! Today we are headed to the Grand Ole Opry. Johnny Cash has returned to sing us his love song to Rose. What fun there is to be had! In case you are confused, check this out. It is the one day when make believe is okay .....my card....
Once again, the color challenge for today fit in quite nicely. I used the computer to download an image of Mr. Cash, then copied & pasted it on a sheet of cs for my bg. EB the Manhattan flower over top. Thanks Sis for giving this to me. You are so sweet sometimes. I sponged some pretty in pink over the eb part, then versa marked and clear ep. Plus I sponged the edges. Hey, sponging was for the CAS this week. Think this fits?
Drew my rose teapot, colored with re-inkers, stamped itty bitty bg on it, versa marked and clear ep then cut out. Popped up over top of the Johnny bg.
On a white card I sponged the three colors for today making a plaid bg. You see, earlier Charlene-Bertie aka: LilLuvsStampin made a plaid bg using her plaid maker. Well I couldn't find one to buy, so I made one. Worked rather nicely don't you think? Then I doodled the edges and tied a bow the kittie747 way. She has two videos on her blog on how to tie bows. Way cool, check it out.
Well, there you have it. My Teapot Tuesday, CC, CAS card. Thanks to Maureen for hosing today. I have never been to the Grand Ole Opry!.....TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Want to sign a song with me? Maybe we can break into the country music industry!

Johnny Cash dp?! You could make a killing selling that off of a website! Someone call Cornish Heritage Farms...they could put it up against their Elvis line, hee! Love the plaid and your perfect double decker rose-pot! You and Teri seem to have dueling humorous cards this week, heeeee!

The plaid made me sure this was a colour challenge as well as the tea pot, which is unmistakeable on all counts - Johhny, rose, rose on teapot. Hope you have a Johnny Cash fan to send it to as a FUNctional card and then I think you really will have aced the challenge with this fun card. So your sis is only sometimes really sweet, LOL.
