First off, thanks Julia for this wonderful challenge. I am so thankful for soooo many things. The card today, is my way of showing DD that I am thankful and relieved that she finally got her new heater put in! She has been without heat for weeks. They have been freezing, even her short haired doggies! Since the new heater, I no longer have to worry about her. At least about that part. hehe.......the card....
Printed out this squigglefly digi dog and then drew the little scene around him. DD's living room is all tile with throw rugs. Her couch sits in front of the window and her doggies are constantly sneaking up on it. So this scene was inspired somewhat by her home.
Colored the scene with copic markers, versa marked a few things and clear ep. Cut out with rectangle coluzzle, sponged and doodled edges
The bg is a stamp with out a name on it. Stamped it on the white card then clear ep. Colored with re-inkers, versa marked and clear ep. Then sponged edges.
Cut out two circles, sponged on color and doodled edges. Put this altogether adding the buttons to the circles.
Well hope you like my little scene.....Oh yeah, somebody let the cat in will ya..........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! DD doesn't really have a cat. I just added this one for fun. hehe

LOL, I know how you feel. My dad's heating wasn't working, and off course he insisted on fixing it himself instead of calling an engineer, so it took days! I was glad he got it fixed just before the temperatures plunged. This is such a warm, happy scene you've created here. Must be cozy in there, no wonder the cat wants in.

This is absolutely adorable! The scene you've hand drawn is fantastic. Sweet story as well. TFS!
In Alaska, we are also VERY thankful to have heat right now!
