Purple doesn't sound nearly as elegant as pretty plum, misty mauve (my favorite retired color) or even deep concord (as Julia suggested). It is a definite 'in' color. The bella twisted challenge this week is to use purple and paper piecing so I have finished up this card and it suits both challenges. I have opted for the more muted and dusty tones which I LOVE!! Wish I knew the dp. I bought it in Missouri and it came from Australia, I think!! I cut it into 6X6's and kept the strip hanging around for a while, but it is missing now!!

Oooo! Da Sistahs! And paper pieced to perfection too! What a wonderfully fun card. Love it, love it, LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing. And your colors do sound prettier than 'purple' too!
