I just couldn't resist playing in today's TLC to make faux suede! What a fun technique!! I actually made my faux suede several hours ago, but didn't know what to do with it, so I made another couple of cards while thinking about it, lol!!!
I remembered that I needed to send a birthday card to my aunt (it will be very late as her bday is today and she lives in Scotland, lol!!) so I made this. I love the look of kraft and chocolate and I love this damask set from PTI designed by Dawn McVey! Anyway, I stamped the damask image on the sentiment panel in vintage cream and waited a few minutes before I stamped my sentiment. The vintage cream ink wasn't dry yet, but I like how it turned out so I just kept it. The sentiment panel is popped up! Another, quick, clean and simple card. I hope you like it!! Thanks for another great technique Lynn and thanks for looking!
ETA: The faux suede is the kraft layer, I have just realized that you can't actually tell in the photo, but it does look like it in real life. I wish I had sponged the edges and crumpled it up a bit, because it doesn't look suedey in the photo:(

The faux suede is lovely...you can see it looking closely! Your aunt will love it...especially because you made it for her with love! Always enjoy popping over to your gallery!
