Hi! This card fits today's Ways to Use it Challenge: Very Vintage. Participants were to use Vintage or "Vintage like" materials on their cards today. (My vintage is: buttons-they were my great grandmothers!, image- it's new but is very vintage like, and the distressing.
A year or two ago, Mark, Markie and I went "antiquing" in Georgia. As Mark haggled over price, Markie listened intently. The anitque dealer finally said, "Okay, it's old and ratty. You can have it for $200." After Mark had completed the transaction, and was walking out, Markie turned to the dealer and said, "Sir, you should have said, 'Four hundred dollars is as low as I can go for such a Vintage Shabby Chic piece!'" The child winked at the dealer and walked out...Needless to say, Markie does NOT go antiquing with us any more!
The image was stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock in Espresso. The blooms were sponged with Orchid Opulence colored in with Copic Markers. A stipple brush was used to add in the color around the sentiment.

Another beauty! And your Markie is too funny! Such a bright young man ... although, I probably wouldn't take him antiquing either. ;-)
