Yeah! Stamp Muse is the featured stamper today. She always leaves wonderful comments on our cards. So, it was a pleasure to CASE one of here wonderful cards. I chose this one. It is so shimmery. Plus I just found this really shimmery painting stuff in a drawer of mine and wanted to try them out.......details.....
I have this stamp that I had special ordered from the stamp store I frequent. I really must like this stamp because I just discovered I already have it! Good news for my sis! She always gets my doubles. Oh how I wish I was more organized!
Anyway, I kept the layout the same, just changed the image, ribbon, paper and sentiment. Plus my sentiment has a left over, from the last teapot party, bear bee! Have to add a little whimsy to my cards you know. hehe
I stamped my square flower with versa mark, gold ep it. Then colored it with the newly found in my draw shimmery stuff. Cut them out and layered them with cs to make them a little thicker. I also put diamond glaze on the flower late last night so I wouldn't rush it before it dried. Finally getting smart, in my old age.
Made a long card, which I never do. Put on some shimmery misc. dp and a strip of gorgeous ribbon from my friend, Anne Ryan.
Popped up my squares. Printed out the sentiment, cut it out and rounded the corners and sponged the edges. Popped up the chubby bear bee for fun. Also gave him a slice of watermelon because the colors went so well with the card.
This was a hard one to photograph, so I apologize for this picture. It truly looks better IRL.
Have a great day Emily!!!! Was fun CASE'ing you today. Hope you all like my card.......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! How's your card coming?

Well look at you with your long tall card! Oh doesnt that kill you when you go and buy the same thing twice. Just last week I ordered a nestie's pad on Monday and on Tuesday, I went and ordered another one. I feel your pain on that one. Oh, such gorgeous coloring on this so different card for you, Nutmeg! Love those 3 squares on a long card. Nutmeg, this is pretty darn gorgeous if someone were to ask me about it.
See, you can transition seamlessly from one gendre to another. Hugs
