I thought it would be fun to create a variegated background using a Backgrounder stamp and a resist technique. Love how it turned out. Backgrounder is Art Nouveau and I love it's elegant look. The chipboard bird is a Heidi Swapp Invisibles piece. You sponge ink on it and a pre-resisted pattern becomes visible. They are so much fun. I picked it up from ellenhutson.com

Julia, this is so beautiful. I put it in to my favorites, not that I could recreate this but maybe I could recreate one of the elements. Fabulous inspiration.
