My recent high-school grad daughter was assembling the birthday gift she has made for her boyfriend and I had to laugh - because it was this week's Sketch Challenge SC235!! Also fit today's Limited Supply Challenge LSC227 - to NOT use stamps. Not a digi or a die-cut, but hope the challenge police will let this one slide on in LOL!
She used acrylic paints and painted nine different images on each one - representing something in his life - music, places he wants to visit, hobbies etc. Each pick is stuck on the dark grey mat with a clear dot and then mounted in a frame purchased at Michael's.
Thanks for taking a peek - and I know she'd get a kick out of any comments you'd like to leave for her!

Well, well, well. Is this a case of the creativeness of the mother being visited on the daughter - or the other way round!! I was wondering where one would find a collection of picks like this then saw that Rachel had painted them herself and that just blew me away. Absolutely fabulous!!!
Cheers!

This TOTALLY ROCKS!!! Your daughter is very creative and clever to paint the guitar picks and personalize it for her boyfriend. It really looks so artistically cool in the frame. A very special gift, indeed!

Laurie, this is so totally fabulous. Not only is it unique and personal, but it's so amazingly creative! I totally see where your daughter gets her creativity from: this is so perfect! My compliments to your daughter. It's got a WOW factor of 10+.
