When I learned that we were having tea at Windsor Castle today with the Queen of England, I immediately called my friend Eliza for some lessons in manners and etiquette. She taught me how to speak like a lady and walk like a lady and hold my little pinky high while delicately sipping my tea with royalty like a lady!
I told Bertie that she had to be on her best behavior this week, even while standing in line at the castle with all of the others. I know she's really, reeeeeealllly tempted to flirt with those cute guards at the castle doors, but I told her she didn't want to ruin it for the others by getting kicked out before we even get in!!! Needless to say, Bertie won't be standing too close to Schirmcat because she really is the naughty one of the group, and Bertie can be led astray so easily.

Hope you didn't swallow any of those marbles when Eliza was coaching you, Charlene. Tea and cucumber sandwiches would be far more palatable. I am glad you realise that I really am quiet - Kelly and Dawn don't seem to . Moi - tackle Mutnik!! This card is the teapot to a T, elegance with a capital E. I knew it called for gold embossing to capture it.

I am glad Eliza's given you some tips...did she help you pronounce "The rain in Spain is mainly on the plain?"
I love that movie, and love your card today, Charlene!! It is perfect for Cindy's challenge...love your touch of gold too!

Your story is amazing, Charlene. So glad you could join MM with her 1st anniversary. Your card is a little unlike your story: its positively elegant with those sweet flowers and wonderfully embossed sentiment. Great card, girl.

Well, haven't seen Bertie yet. So far, so good...but I am hearing some commotion in the Palace dinning room which is as a big as a football field. How can they all sit together and talk, need a phone or an intercome. Well, I'm outta here, I'm sure that's Bertie that's got a hold of the buttler's ahem...butt. LOL
Well done Charlene, what a sweet little cas and my your flowers are so like the one on the teapot. Gorgeous work my dear. Palace material!

I love this. CAS indeed! THe gold touches are just perfect and eye-catching. And I love your story too! Now, if you need a place to hide that necklace ask Cindy if she can stash it in her crown box. We'll just have to distract the customs officials. Oh my!

Ohh that's just gorgeous Charlene!! Love those cute flowers - oppps I mean so elegant!!! Beacause I know that you are off to see the Queen!!! Enjoy a spot of tea for me will you!!
Well, between Gertie and Bertie, I'd say things might be a bit crazy at the castle!! Good luck!!! The gold trim is lovely - but did you steal that from the gold braid on those palace guards hat??? I can just see you getting into a scuffle over one of them for his gold braid - and maybe a kiss?????? and throwing M and M's on the ground to trip up the Queen. I worry, Charlene!!

What a beautiful card! Love the rock and roll colors and gold embossing.
I hope that was not you singing *I'm Enery the Eighth I am I am* at the top of your lungs. I really don't think you got in touch with the correct Eliza!

Because I am late reading all the comments I have to hurry but I gather you either stole the necklace or it was given to you by the queen. Either way you put it to good use! Love this card which is just perfect for the anniversary party.
