Hope the colours in the picture are OK, the sun is right on my PC screen so I can't see too well.
There were some lovely pictures in the Bugaloo site Stef picked for us today. If I didn't have someone coming to stay tonight, I could make a whole set of little note-cards.
As it is, I made this little 4 1/2" square card. I thought it could make a good baby boy card, but given the amount of birthdays I was late with in April, a *sorry I forgot* card would be something good to have in my stock.
The base is covered with some dark brown Bazzill, with stitching around the edges. I stamped the elephant twice on white card, one with ColorBox Pigment Pistachio and once with Daffodil. Added stitching lines with markers, and popped the ear up on foam after cutting out.
I printed the sentiment on the computer, added some pastel yellow snaps and sponged the edges with Pistachio. The sentiment and the elephant are both popped up on foam tape, and I added a little mulberry-paper flower.
Thanks, Stef - a perfect quick and easy challenge for a busy day.

What an adorable card concept! I like this little guy's popped up ear and textured background and how he is holding the little folder and looking so sweet and apologetic. Very nice.

You had me fooled, Sabrina. I know we've talked about sewing so I thought for sure you brought the good ole sewing machine out for this one. I love the simplicity of your card. The elephant is just wonderful and the sentiment is perfect for one of those birthdays you might have missed.
