Okay, I'm struggling with these simple cards. I must get back to my more detailed ones. They seem to suit me better, but I like to try new things sometimes! These are not my colors, but this is what I saw when I looked at these cupcakes for the inspiration challenge:
The first thing I thought of was that the cupcakes looked like the Trendy Tree stamps I just finally got. So, I picked up on the bright colors or yellow, green and orange, paired with brown for the chocolate! I tried so many different ribbons and nothing worked, so I settled for this. It's not my favorite, but hope it at least captures the inspiration piece.
The tree tops are are all shiny with crystal effects, but it doesn't show up on the photo too well.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a quick moment, let me know what you think!!! Be kind . . . I worked early into the a.m. to complete this thing I started early evening, so I'm burned out! You know the more I look at this card now, it is kind of growing on me. Go figure!!!

Well Pam, I stared at those cupcakes looking for trees and all I could see was gooey sweetness and sugar that was hopefully hiding something chocolately underneath... (I totally see how you were inspired to use your trees - just telling you what I saw...which usually involves chocolate...) This turned out really cute - of course, that is one punch I don't have so you've set off the 'I need that punch' alarm! Fun card girl - you sure are on a creative roll...

I thought those cakes looked simply beautiful, but wouldn't even have attempted to try to interpret them into a card. I think you did an amazing job - great card.

Ooh, la,la Pam-I love this bright and cheerful card. So sunny! I need sun because it has rained here for 2-3 days. Great lattice layers. I know what you mean about working into the night..been there, done that. I think your card is super and it brightens my day.

Pam - this is stunning - I loved it as soon as I saw it - not your usual colours, which makes a difference on your perspective BUT they are perfect! This card is lovely and has the 'Pam' touch. I find the simple ones harder too, but it is good for us Pam to work outside 'our sqaure!' Loving this - step back and have a look in the morning!!! Well done on this...and yes...it is almost 'good enough to eat!' Well done my friend - thank you for sharing!!
