Thought I'd take a break from those heavy duty layered cards and try to make a simple thank you for my sister. She made all the travel plans for our recent trip to Florida and did all the driving and she loves "yellow", so thought I'd combine yellow with brown since I had some retired SU rub ons #2007#. Even though the card appears simple, it seems it took me just as long as some of the more complicated ones trying to get it to look right and have just the right embellishments. I don't know how people do the CAS cards so beautifully and so simply!!! UGGHH...
Anyway, I used the SU rub ons, added some chocolate pearls #from my buddy Wattle#, used the SU oval punches and paper piercer and that was it. Hard to believe it took as long as it did to come up with something simple!
Thanks for taking the time to look and if you have a moment, let me know what you think!!! Have a great evening and weekend!!

I cant believe I've managed to miss this creation. Girl, your cards are spectacular. Being a newbie, so to speak, it's pretty darn amazing the kinds of cards you create. I think I'm on to you, though: You're an art teacher or a graphic designer, arent you? C'mon, admit it. YOur work is something special, I will say that!
