Tried to capture the lightness of the dress so stamped twice using black Versamark on vellum. Cut out the dress and layered it on top for a little dimension and then layered on black cardstock cut out with scalloped Nesties.
Stamped and embossed sentiment on textured cardstock. Punched border with MS scallop border punch. Added knotted ribbon, SU rubon in corner and some Viva paper flowers. Mounted all on black cardstock!

This is so amazing, Laurie! BTW, I agree ~ that book was fabulouse. Anyway I love what you did withe the vellum. Fabulously crafted in black and white. you never disappoint.

Your card is far more beautiful than the cover of the book. I love the dark and light contrast, the flowers and especially the scallopped border. Very elegant.
