Congrats to Joan Ervin being the Featured Stamper this week. When I seen this card, I knew what I wanted to do: CC200 Happy Fishes to You!! by joan ervin at Splitcoaststampers
I started with Only Orange cs as the base. I layered with Brilliant Blue cs and again with Only Orange cs. I stamped small shells onto the orange cs with pumpkin pie ink. I layered a strip of bright colored dp with the brilliant blue cs, cut crooked on one side of both papers. I stamped the fish bowl with black stazon on GP white cs, cut out the bowl and layered with the brilliant blue cs. I used the distressing tool around the fishbowl. I stamped the fish with black stazon, colored with BIC It Markers and SU markers, cut out 2 fish and used 3D dots. I stamped the seaweed with garden green ink, pumpkin pie ink for the the small shell and brilliant blue for the big shell. I stamped the sand with creamy caramel. I also used a sponge with bliss blue ink to make it look like water is in the fish bowl. I added mini rhinestones for the bubbles. I then decided to use my copic marker around some of the images. I added Diamond Dust to the shells and sand. The fish bowl is raised using 3D squares. I used a medium oval punch on brilliant blue cs, then used a small oval punch on pumpkin pic cs and a small oval scallop punch. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I added an octopus button next the layered ovals. I also added a mint green fish clip and tied a ribbon. I hope this is not to busy.
Thanks for a great challenge and gallery to choose from.
Things I've changed: Fish, punches, clip, from a square to a fishbowl.
I can't believe it's 3:30am and I'm uploading a card. This took me awhile to do too.
