Thank goodness Cindy added a backdoor policy! You see, I had to clean some filters today on my day off. Designed this card before I left. It just happened to fit with the color challenge. haha I got home, took my boots off and set my *white* cup of tea down on the window sill. Went to read what was happening at the tea party today. Discovered I had used a few too many colors on my card. Thus the backdoor
entry!.........details....
Running a little late, hope there is some of MariLynn's happy cake left. I am hungry! I drew this little window scene. It reminds me of the movie Under the Tuscan Sun that I watched the other night. I also had the SU Branch Out set on my table and the tiny parts just fit perfectly with my scene.
I drew the white tea cup so I could fit in with the *white* theme at the party today. It is a little small so I added the tea cup pointer so you could see it! LOL
Cut my layers out with a squiggly coluzzle, sponged edges and doodled. Put this on a white panel that I scored then sponged color on.
Put all this on a card that I doodled the edges and then left ......white.... trying to tone down all the extra colors so I wouldn't be scolded too bad for coming in the backdoor! Well, hope you like it and that you can see my tea cup cause it needs to be refilled!!! .........TFL :0)

What a great scene you created, definitely a Mediterranean vacation feel here (except that would need an espresso cup, not a tea cup, I guess - your average Italian likes his caffeine concentrated - lol!)

I like the colors you chose and the scene you created. A girl can just use so much white. The boots are perfect to get through the mud that is all over the place. Wait, maybe the boots are just a ploy and those are really cake crumbs on the floor. We are missing some cake you know.

I thought I heard someone come through the back door. I was thinking maybe it was the second cake, but it was you and your wonderful card instead. This is just so pretty and just perfect for a springtime day. tfs

Oh this is one naughty card, but I too, may be using this entrance! Details will follow soon as my camera batteries recharge, but there was a PROBLEM with the florist, hee! Glad to see you left your black boots at the back door! We wouldn't you to track in any mud all over this monochromatic party (someone once said they didn't like monochromatic cards ((CINDY!!!)). All is forgiven though since this is just the sweetest little scene and there is one smidge of a white tea cup!!!!

This is such a cute and adorable card!! I love the squiggly oval. I like your sweet story that goes with your card. It all sort of reminds me of a nice children's story. Beautiful illustration!!

I saved you a piece of cake. It is under mummy wrap though. Hope you don't mind. It's better than Saran wrap. It doesn't have that plastic smell...
This scene is a classic. I love the teacup and pointer..LOL. Great use of the challenge colors too. I am loving those mucking boots. Have they been in the cow lot? Hope not. These gals are sissy pants. Great job...
