Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Cameo Coral, Ballet Blue and Garden Green.
Now...I saw this combo and grabbed the tree and bird from the "Happy Day" set sitting on my stampin' table. I colored them in with SU! markers, used an aqua painter to blend and then realized that I had used brown for the truck...I had to rethink it, and my mind switched on to autopilot.
You see, I had a really big shock last evening. While I was searching for Markie's lunch box in his backpack, I found a HUGE assignment that has a due date of Thursday morning...I read over it, and started to panic. He has to make a 3D house with 18 different architectural "points." And, it needs to have a yard...And, flowers, shrubs, etc....I can stamp, okay...but, seriously...a 3D house?? With a garden? That's WAY out of my league...So, my mind drifted. Big time. I was going over a "roof top garden plan" when I realized I had finished my card.
The side panel was embossed and a Cuttlebug die cut was added with the flowers cut from Cameo Coral.

The colors for this challenge are perfect on your card! Oh how I remember those last minute "reveals" about big projects! Just remember, Markie is the one in school with the assignments! He has more talent than most of us, so I'm sure he will do a great job!
