what a talented artist for today's Featured Stamper, Beth! Inge has such a touch with combining pattern and layouts and texture...I spent quite alot of time just looking at her work. In the end, I chose this card to case. I used her square, switched the orientation of the layout, used different papers and images, kept the color similar.
My 6x6 page is also for His Holy Name challenge to study the name 'KING'. I used two different papers from Basic Grey, my main page is from Stella Ruby. I used MaVinci's Celtic alpha's for the word, inked in ColorBox lava black and embossed in clear. A key from K&CO stand in for the "I". I added the crown (also from K&CO) at the top. Along the side, I stamped Gutenberg (Rubber Baby Bumpers) down the right side in Adirondack butterscotch ink. I also used my sewing machine. This piece is scored and there is room for journaling behind the long panel. The fancy frame is a Prima Marketing clear stamp...I used PTI's spring moss and distressed the whole piece until I had the look I wanted. SU's Easter is inked with Peacock Gold as well is Crafty Secrets date. I used a Starving Artistamp for my book, using four pages to create the space for my scripture. It is hand written with a Sakura puff pen. The cross on the page is from Google pics that I sized in PhotoShop. I created a bookmark with a bit of vintage lace trim and tied to the bottom is a TH metal coin that says DESTINY. Tucked to the left side of the book is a ticket that says HOPE. I can pull it out for further journaling. Finishing it off is Shalom stamped on the horizontal by the key.
I chose two scriptures to study for the name, KING. The first was John 18:36-37 where Jesus answers Pilate as to the charge, "Are you a king". He answers, 'You are right I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to my voice. And Zechariah 14:9 The Lord will be king over all the earth. Oh, that day there will be 1 LORD and this name the only name. David Crowder band...so uplighting, it's Easter...and my KING has risen! Alleluia!

Wow, it is Easter late afternoon. I am sitting in my craft room and I have the radio on. So I am surfing SCS and I come upon this card and the radio is playing Amazing Grace sung by Alabama! I say the Lord is talking to me. Your page is very unique. Lovely. TFS.

I am with you sister - we serve a RISEN KING!!! Love this Susan, there are so many elements to look at....I love the 2 scriptures you used, but the second one is amazing - I would never have thought to have used it!! I love it that we can all have the same scripture and get such a different interpretation of it on paper - I LOVE that!!! It is part of having a many God with many facets!!! WOW! Such a beautiful proclaimation you have made. I love all the hardward you creatively used throughout. I know you don't do this for the rewards you will earn in heaven for your testimony but I just got a little chuckle when I imagine what your crown will look like - God must know and appreciate that you love embellishments!
