Well, Lynn, this is one TLC that I do just about every day in creating my art. I LOVE to cut, snip, and tuck, it's like playing paper dolls for grown girls! Thanks and let me know what you think of my entry!
I've had parts of this card on a design board for months...almost ready, but not quite. Does that ever happen to you? But under the challenge issued today, all those pieces came together in a beautiful way and just in time, I might add!
This card is a kickstand card. I used Basic Grey's Sultry 'POSH' paper as my DP. I stamped Oxford Impressions ice cream parlour background near the top in TH di dried marigold. Making Memories journaling paper was used for the Celebrate (SU's Lexion of Love) which was inked with an unknown bown dye ink. My cut-out is a gorgeous lily of the valley from Stamp Francisco. I stamped on SU certainly celery, embossed in clear and then used bleach to white the tiny blooms. It is popped on foam mounting squares. I tied a double sided satin ribbon to the bottom of the flowers. The mat for this panel is SU tangerine tango in color. I used Cornish Heritage Farms weave background in TH di frayed burlap. A piece of dark pink baby ric-rac finishes it off.
There's a surprise up the side of the journaling scallop, SCS screen names! This card is for my cyber friend, CA Kath who arrives this week in my town on business. We'll have dinner together at a favorite spot of mine along the river and continue the friendship we began in cyberspace...can't wait...I'm just hoping she's too busy today to see this!!!
Thanks for looking, and your comments are most welcome.

Very prettty, Susan! I love this cutwork image. I am blessed to be gifted with one too! That bow is just perfect among the dark green hues! It really pops the design!

What a fabulous breath of spring!! Your card is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship, Susan. It would have taken me months to get this awesome cutting done.
Your quote sent me scrambling to find one for you. Here is what I chose: An optimist is the human personification of spring. ~Susan J. Bissonette
