This card is for two challenges - this week's Viva la Verve sketch challenge (check out the Verve forum for more deets!) and the inspiration challenge - Elum journals.
I was inspired by the butterflies (obviously... being a butterfly addict!) and the blue/green colour scheme.
The Verve challenge was a sketch challenge with a twist of embossing. I embossed the sentiment panel with the birds and swirls cuttlebug embossing folder and the butterflies are also embossed - with midnight/teal embossing powder.
The papers are from K&Co's addison range - got a 6x6 pad of this for £1 the other day in a massive craft sale - score!! Used some of my random ribbon stash for the wrap-around. Added loads of stickles (lime green and waterfall) on the paper and butterflies and the word HOPE on the message. Finished off with pearls.
TFL!
