Greaaaat hosting, Anne, your inspiration challenge gave me sweet dreams and I was able to wake refreshed AND know what I wanted to create! Thanks so much!
I love this Diffusion art stamp of fabulous quotes. I hadn't had a chance to ink it up. However, deciding to go with these journals as my overall theme made all the rest easy peasy!!! The cardstock is white GP. I used VersaFine onyx black for the quotes. The bits and pieces are from an unmounted set by Invoke Arts. I stamped the pen in ColorBox black, the bottle of ink in Dragonfly black, and big pen nib in Lava Black, and the scroll in Raven black. All are embossed with clear ep. I couldn't resist my thumbprint in Archival sepia ink!!! And of course the tiny key at the top. This is matted onto SU black.
I will be back to comment on the day's offerings, I'm off to the PO, I have happy mail to get on it way, including this one to my DS, Sam!!! Thanks so much for the gift of your comments, they encourage me to keep gettin' my fingers inky!!! Happy weekend all.

I love that verse - or words - I am not certain what to call it! As we get older - like me - we realize just how true those words are! Love the fountain pen and the inkwell! Just wonderful Susan!! Your verse speaks to me - just found out at the ripe old age of 48 - I have osteoporois in my spine and ostepenia in my hips. Well - you can only go forward and just do what you can do..
And on a funnier note -I used to tease my son William that we would make Christmas Card using a fingerprint from everyone in the family - and add a little to the fingerprints to make each one look like reindeer - I had seen it a magazine. William was convinced that they would be taken up by the government and somehow used against him.
Are you certain that you want to have your thumbprint right here for me to run through my huge data base of criminals ;)

Oh, Susan, this design so appeals to the book/word lover in me!! Your thumbprint is the perfect accent on this, and the key an added bonus!! Love every detail. OH, and I would love it if you were to be my embossing buddy, so much better than the kind I was referring to! lol.
