Today's Limited Supply Challenge hosted by Dawn Mercedes, was to use black as your background. I have a dear friend who's feeling a bit worn down right now so this will be for her. I am also using this card for SCRC209 scripture challenge where you had to use 'kindness' in your card. The distressed background print of this is Ephesians 4:32 using the King James Version of the Bible. I'm a firm believer that the King James is the most accurate translation. I will never use something like The Message to convey scripture as it's man's INTERPRETATION of the Bible rather than a TRANSLATION, which I feel distorts scripture and is dangerous.
I received my new Cornish Heritage Farms stamps this week of their Shady Tree Studio line and thought that this Closed Tulip was the perfect image to use for this card. The tulip looks so much better in person and not washed up like in the picture. It's a combination of reds, oranges and yellows.
What do you think? I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Details on my blog at www.cindycoutts.com. Thank you for looking and God bless your day.
